According to reports, a South Carolina man was arrested while hiding in Detroit after being on the run for 17 years. He also didn't disclose his true identity to his wife and kids.  Antran Hall was originally found guilty of trafficking cocaine in Anderson County, SC back in 2006. After failing to surrender twice, Hall was placed on the state's "Most Wanted" list. It wasn't until this year that detectives learned Hall had taken on a new identity in Detroit and had been living under this new alias for over a decade.  "The investigation shows Hall lived under a fake identity, even tricking his own wife and kids that only knew him by his alias name," authorities wrote. He is currently in police custody awaiting extradition to South Carolina.

United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, announced today (June 27) that recording artist, Caswell Senior, known as Casanova, was sentenced to 188 months in prison for racketeering and narcotics offenses.  Casanova admitted to being one of the leaders in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods Gang (“Gorilla Stone”).   A Florida man convicted in the 1990 killing of an 11-year-old girl and her babysitter elbowed his attorney in the face hours before he was sentenced to death, wild courtroom video shows.  During Monday's hearing in a Florida courtroom, Joseph Zieler, 61, asked to speak with his attorney Kevin Shirley, video from NBC affiliate  WBBH  of Fort Myers shows. As Shirley bent down to speak with his client, Zieler raised his elbow and hit the man in the face. Zieler was immediately tackled to the ground by bailiffs, the video shows.  Shirley said he was OK, telling the judge: "I used to box, I’ve taken a lot better shots than that one."   Former President Trump  is the only living current or living former U.S. president who is not descended from slaveholders, according to a Tuesday report from Reuters. The report detailed the ancestry of America's leaders as of the  117th Congress.  The report found that five living presidents, two Supreme Court justices, 11 governors and 100 members of Congress had ancestors who owned slaves. Presidents Biden, Carter, George W. Bush, Clinton and Obama all have ancestors who enslaved Black people in their family trees, according to the report, with Obama's link coming from his White mother's side. Meanwhile, Trump's family did not immigrate to the U.S. until after slavery was abolished.

The California Court of Appeal just cleared the way for Robson to make his case -- alleging MJ molested him at the Neverland Ranch when Robson was between the ages of 7 and 14. The issue -- Robson is suing Michael Jackson's corporation -- MJJ Productions, Inc. Jackson's company lawyers argued the company had no legal duty to protect Robson or anyone else from MJ because it had no ability to control him. The trial court bought the Estate's argument, but the Court of Appeal begged to differ, and according to a tentative ruling -- which almost always becomes final -- the case will be sent back down for trial. Trevor Raekwon Seward, 25, was found guilty of murder of a federal employee in the course of her duties and other crimes in the September 2019 shooting of 64-year-old Irene Pressley as she delivered mail in rural Williamsburg County, federal prosecutors said. After finding the note in his mailbox instead of the 2-pound (0.9-kilogram) package of marijuana from California he was expecting, Seward confronted Pressley a few minutes later demanding his package. The U.S. Postal Service mail carrier refused, according to court documents.   On Wednesday (June 21) 35-year-old Carlishia Hood and her 14-year-old son were arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Jeremy Brown. The incident occurred last Sunday (June 18) in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. At around 11 p.m. that Sunday, Hood went inside of Maxwell Street Express, which sits at 11656 S. Halsted St., to grab some food as her son waited behind in their car. As Hood was waiting in line, she got into an argument with Brown. It is reported that Brown threatened Hood, and ended up punching her, causing her 14-year-old son to pull out a gun and fire shots at Brown. One of the shots landed in Brown’s back, and he tried to run out of the restaurant, but the teen followed him, firing additional shots.  Prosecutors claimed that Hood continued to tell her son to keep shooting Brown until he was dead.
