Chicago Mother Charged With Murder After Allegedly Telling 14-Year-Old Son To Shoot A Man!

On Wednesday (June 21) 35-year-old Carlishia Hood and her 14-year-old son were arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Jeremy Brown. The incident occurred last Sunday (June 18) in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois.

At around 11 p.m. that Sunday, Hood went inside of Maxwell Street Express, which sits at 11656 S. Halsted St., to grab some food as her son waited behind in their car. As Hood was waiting in line, she got into an argument with Brown.

It is reported that Brown threatened Hood, and ended up punching her, causing her 14-year-old son to pull out a gun and fire shots at Brown. One of the shots landed in Brown’s back, and he tried to run out of the restaurant, but the teen followed him, firing additional shots.

Prosecutors claimed that Hood continued to tell her son to keep shooting Brown until he was dead. Following the shooting, Hood reportedly told her son to shoot a witness who was instigating the argument from earlier. Hood then attempted to grab the gun away from her son, but he pushed her away.

The mother and son duo eventually got back into their car and drove back to their home. Surveillance footage at the restaurant caught the entire ordeal, and there was even surveillance footage from nearby their home, that caught them arriving to their house after the shooting.

Prosecutors claimed that Brown suffered two gunshot wounds to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene. After Hood was arrested, police would conduct a search and they recovered an unloaded, unregistered handgun, plus an empty magazine. It was later revealed, in a further investigation, that Hood possessed a valid Illinois FOID card, plus a concealed carry license.

Both Hood and her son were charged with one count of first-degree murder. Hood was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

WASHINGTON (CN) — A much-anticipated congressional hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena reached a crescendo Wednesday morning as a government whistleblower made bombastic claims that the Department of Defense has not only recovered extraterrestrial craft from crash sites but also possesses non-human biological material. Former intelligence official David Grusch made the claims during a blockbuster hearing of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.
